SkillsActive is delighted to announce the successful launch of the online resource that helps organisations implement good equality and diversity practice in the workplace.
Developed in partnership with Skills for Justice, the Sector Skills Council for the UK Justice Sector, www.sfbn-equality-diversity.org.uk is a central online resource for employers and other Sector Skills Councils, and is packed full of useful support, guidance and information on implementing equality and diversity in the workplace.
For the employers we work with, the website contains information on the business case for equality and diversity, an information bank as well as a toolkit of resources such as strategy and action plan templates, case studies of good practice and links to more expert advice. Sector Skills Councils can find guidance on how to develop a strategy for equality and diversity for support in delivering Sector Skills Agreements.
The new website helps address some of the main areas where equality and diversity issues can exist within the workforce, including age, gender, sexuality, religion or belief, ethnicity, migrant workers, disabled people and inclusive employment. |
