Professional Development Programme February & March 2012
Professional Development Programme February & March 2012

This term we are offering several training days for tutors and trainers to come along and build on their skills and knowledge. 'Playing Up!' is a new course we have written around working with, and supporting the play of, older children and we are running a tutor training day for this new course as well as 'Playing Creatively' which was developed last year in partnership with Play Torbay. And for those wishing to update their knowledge on current playwork theory and qualifications we are offering a theory updates, with ideas for delivery to students. Our practical course this term is a one day workshop on ideas for playing outside with the elements.

At the end of March we are delivering a Take 5 for Play course as an introduction to playwork for practitioners and volunteers who may be working over the holiday period.

As always, if you have other training needs or requests please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss this further.

Also don't forget we have a number of publications and products that will aid delivery of any of our courses and provide ideas for your play settings. Visit our Publications page to find out what we have on offer.
